Fusion

Fusion is the process of combining 3 of your unwanted equipment to obtain an equipment of at least the same rank by random. Fusing consumes 3 pieces of equipment in total, no more no less. Fusing is free of charge. You can't choose the equipment part you want (it's random), but you can choose the hero who will receive it, so the fused equipment will be either hero-specific to him/her or generic. Ingredients do not need to be specific to the hero being chosen.

The lowest possible rank for a fusion ingredient is rank 30. The resulting rank of fusing always follows the lowest rank of the ingredients used (i.e. for fusion using ingredients ranked 30, 35 and 40, the resulting fusion will have the highest possibility of being rank 30). Thus, players usually fuse equipment using ingredients all 3 at the same rank for the best outcome.

The fused equipment can never be below the rank of its lowest ingredient. Meaning if the lowest ingredient used is rank 30, the result can never be below rank 30. However, there is a small chance that the fusion will jump rank to a higher rank. That small chance can be increased using boost tickets (reward from Alliance War) of the specific rank.

You can access the Fusion menu through Equipment > Reforge > Fusion.
